MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 15, 2022 – G-Tech Medical, a developer of non-invasive diagnostic solutions for patients with gastrointestinal disorders, today announced that two posters have been accepted for presentation at the upcoming Digestive Disease Week Conference to be held in San Diego in from May 21 through May 24.
The first poster, entitled Wireless non-invasive patches detect phase III of the migrating motor complex in response to octreotide administration, reports on a study performed by researchers from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and G-Tech. The second poster, entitled Development and Characterization of an opioid-induced constipation (OIC) model in swine: use of G-Tech wireless non-invasive patches to monitor colonic myoelectrical activity (CMA), reports on a study performed by researchers from UCLA and G-Tech.

The G-Tech WPS is a tool that provides gastric and intestinal myoelectrical activity measurements to be used at the discretion of the Physician or Clinical researcher to aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of gastrointestinal disorders and dysfunctions.
